CONCEPT STATEMENT
Sinuous Dream transforms the BESIONIA outlet into a modular retail landscape, where identity becomes system and space becomes
performance. From a subtle logo detail to a generative spatial system.
ABSTRACT
Sinuous Dream reinterprets the BESIONIA outlet as a fluid and modular retail system. Starting from the brand’s logo, the project develops an organic spatial language translated into three key elements: the Wave, Tectonic Panels, and display modules. The result is a warm, scalable and conversion-oriented environment that balances brand identity, commercial efficiency and customer experience.
DESCRIPTION
Concept and Brand Translation. Sinuous Dream translates the BESIONIA identity into space through a generative design approach. The logo is abstracted into an organic sign inspired by botanical forms: curves, growth patterns, and fluid geometries. This sign becomes a spatial system that informs the entire project. Identity is not applied as decoration, but embedded into the architecture.
Retail System
The store is conceived as a modular and scalable system, structured through three main elements. The Wave is a central fluid element that defines the spatial identity and hosts accessories, shoes, and bags. It guides movement while maintaining visual continuity. Tectonic Panels are vertical modular systems integrating shelves, hanging elements, mirrors, niches, lighting, and digital content.
They increase product density while preserving clarity. Display modules are freestanding elements that enable flexible layouts, seasonal changes, and promotional configurations. Together, these elements create a coherent system balancing identity and adaptability.
Layout and Customer Experience
The layout follows key retail principles: clear orientation, intuitive navigation, balanced product distribution, and optimized flow. Apparel is mainly displayed along the perimeter, while accessories are highlighted in central areas. The customer journey is fluid and supported by visual continuity and focal points.
Materials and Lighting
Material choices enhance warmth and perception: wood in pear and walnut tones, translucent surfaces in glass or recycled PMMA, light-colored flooring, and metal elements. A soft rose ceiling grid introduces a contemporary tone and diffuses light. Lighting combines spotlights, integrated LEDs, and ambient layers to reinforce hierarchy and product visibility.
The BESIONIA identity is diffused across the space through a controlled hierarchy of visual intensity. The façade features a prominent logo, ensuring visibility from a distance. In the window display, the logo is reintroduced at a more refined scale and integrated with digital content. Inside, the brand presence becomes progressively softer, appearing on panels and architectural elements. The logo is also embedded in motion graphics and video content, while micro-scale applications complete the identity system. The entrance acts as a threshold between public space and retail environment.
Commercial Strategy
The project enhances product visibility, display density, modular flexibility, and clarity of offer.
It balances brand identity and commercial performance, transforming the outlet into a premium retail experience.
